Lens Based 2014: Photography and Video on View January 23 to February 20

Lens-Based 2014: Photography I + Video I celebrates the new Lens-Based Arts major specialization offered by TCNJ’s Art & Art History Department. The exhibition, on view from January 22 through February 20, features student artwork from two Lens-Based Arts foundation courses: Photography I and Video I.

The Lens-Based Arts specialization offers digital and traditional practices of still photography and video in which students fluidly explore diverse methods of telling stories. Courses focus on developing technical and conceptual aspects of the mediums, while emphasizing the potential of photography and video to engage meaningfully with ideas and culture.
