This summer, Art History professors Dr. Deborah Hutton and Dr. Lois Fichner-Rathus led a group of students abroad for the Maymester course, Landmarks: The Art and Culture of Spain. There students contemplated the question of Spanish identity through the lens of the arts. The Art and Culture of Spain is part of our Landmarks series of faculty-led study abroad programs which focus on events in history that have shaped the course and character of world art and culture. The AAH 262 Landmarks Series is designed for students interested in learning about the customs, politics, history, and traditions of art and architecture worldwide.
