Share Drive

Storage on the shared drive is limited to TEMPORARY storage of data. Students should save work to a permanent storage device upon completion of every lab work session. Periodically, and unannounced, data in the shared drive will be deleted. By no means should students consider anything saved to the shared drive to be permanent.


Installation Rooms

AIMM 114, 116
Installation Rooms are clean presentation spaces designated with specific classes. Free time to set up installations and other works can be determined by looking at the calendars posted outside rooms.


Lockers

Assigned each academic year, sign up through the Art Office.


Studios

Printmaking, Drawing, Painting, Bookmaking and Sculpture have assigned keys for majors to access studios after class hours. Faculty will inform you of the keycode when classes begin.


Exhibition Spaces

The College Art Gallery
The College Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the new Art & IMM Building on the beautiful campus of The College of New Jersey. The Gallery presents six exhibitions annually including three curated exhibitions featuring nationally and internationally recognized artists, plus two student exhibitions and a faculty exhibition highlighting the extraordinary talent of the campus community. All gallery exhibitions and artist talks are free and open to the public.

Student exhibition spaces
AIMM 111 & 119 are located in the winged sections of the first floor. These spaces showcase student’s works and you may apply for solo or group exhibitions. There is also an annual juried Spring TCNJ Student Exhibition in which you are encouraged to apply. Deadlines and opportunities are announced via email on the HOTLINE.


Safety

Safety is extremely important in the field of Arts. To ensure students, staff and faculty remain safe, there is a required mandatory safety test in the sculpture studio as well as the Lighting Studio. Additionally, it is a fume-free building. First Aid Kits are located in every studio.
