The Department of Art and Art Education invites you to Art Major for a Day on April 21, 2025, from 9 am to 5 pm! Register today!
Join us for an exciting day to discover what life is like as an art and art education major at The College of New Jersey. Prospective and accepted students currently in grades 10 to college are invited to spend a day on our campus to learn more about why TCNJ is a top program for visual artists and art educators in the region. On Art Major for a Day, you will experience:
- Tour TCNJ’s beautiful campus and the state-of-the-art buildings and studios
- Attend studio art, art history, and art education classes taught by TCNJ art faculty
- Experience new skills by attending fun student-led workshops.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of our degree programs and the portfolio requirement
- Have lunch with TCNJ art and art education students
- Learn why TCNJ is once again the “Top Public College” in the U.S. News and World’s Reports.
