Ever wondered what Art Historians do besides teach? Professors Lee Ann Riccardi and Deborah Hutton from TCNJ’s Department of Art and Art History will describe some of their professional activities outside of the classroom, including working with museums and collections, archaeological investigations, archival research, and writing and editing scholarly books and articles. Prof. Riccardi will present a look at her current projects on the portraits and propaganda of Roman emperors, and discuss her past experiences with archaeology in Greece and seminars in Rome. Prof. Hutton will talk about doing research in India and her study of 19th-century photography.
